Known to many families in the neighborhood as “Jessie Minnigan” or “Mrs. Jessie,” Jessie Smith is a singer/songwriter and voice and piano teacher in the Westhaven community. She writes and sings “swampy soul” music, drawing inspiration from artists like Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, and Patty Griffin. When she is not teaching, she is on the road with her guitarist husband Bradley, traveling in their popup camper affectionately named “Choo-Choo” and playing shows all over the country.
Grace Craig is a 9th grade singer/songwriter and Westhaven resident. She plays both guitar and piano and is active in her school’s theatre and musical theatre programs. Grace draws inspiration from artists like Ed Sheeran, Jason Isbell, and Paul McCartney. Along with her voice and piano teacher, Jessie, she has been developing her own personal sound and writing songs that Jessie believes will blow you away.
