James Carbine and the late Denzel Carbine combined their efforts and years of knowledge to create the company in 2003. Today, working with partner, Daryl Walny, the Middle Tennessee custom home building company has an established track record of transparent cost control, superior project organization and attention-to-detail earning client confidence by consistently delivering.

As top Nashville area custom home builders, the Carbine team gave back to their community by donating building services for a mortgage-free house in Kings’ Chapel in partnership with Operation FINALLY HOME, a non-profit that provides custom-homes for wounded, disabled veterans and their widows.  The project earned Walny Franklin Tomorrow’s Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award. The company’s work was the cover feature of the July/August 2013 “Traditional Home” magazine – a show house project partnering with the O’More College of Design. Members in good standing with the local, state and national Home Builders Associations, C&A are NAHB Green Certified Builders and have the distinction of earning a State of Tennessee Unlimited Residential License.
