$20K Raised and Counting: Westhaven’s 2026 Memory Run

On Saturday, April 11, Westhaven’s streets filled with runners, walkers, pickleball players, and some very determined little kids, all moving together for one purpose. The Westhaven’s Annual Memory Run brought out the best of Williamson County, and the numbers show it: over $20,000 raised this year alone.

That brings the Foundation’s all-time total for the Alzheimer’s Association to over $95,000 since the event launched in 2019. For a community-run, resident-led nonprofit, that’s not a small thing.

The Morning

The day started at 8 a.m. with a short one-mile fun run, followed by the 5K Memory Run, and Rally for Alzheimer’s Pickleball Tournament. The partly sunny Saturday morning delivered perfect weather, a great turnout, and the kind of energy that makes early Saturday mornings worth it. Signs lined the street encouraged loved ones participating, and honored those affected by Alzheimer’s, a quiet but powerful reminder of why everyone showed up.

New This Year: Pickleball Tournament

For the first time, the Memory Run expanded to include the Rally for Alzheimer’s Pickleball Tournament, and it delivered in a big way. The tournament alone raised nearly $8,000, a standout addition that signals plenty of room to grow in years ahead.

By the Numbers

  • ~$18,000 raised during the Westhaven’s Memory Run Rally
  • $8,000+ from the Pickleball Rally alone
  • $95,000+ raised for the Alzheimer’s Association since 2019
  • Westhaven is the largest community funder of the Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association

A Tradition Worth Showing Up For

Westhaven Memory Run has been a signature resident-run philanthropic event since 2019. Born out of a recognition that many in the community have personal connections to Alzheimer’s and dementia, this personal stake is still very much present today, and what keeps the event growing year after year.

Thank you to every runner, walker, volunteer, donor, and sponsor who made this year’s Memory Run what it was. See you on the course next April.
