16 Jul Westhaven: The Essence of Community
This summer, on July 4, the United States celebrated its 243rd birthday. Friends and family across the country paid tribute to the declarations made by our founding fathers in 1776; enjoying our rich traditions of family BBQs and firework shows in back yards from coast to coast.
At Westhaven, we consider the spirit of community to be a very significant part of what makes our neighborhood great. Whether you are picking up a game of frisbee in one of the parks; stopping in town center for groceries or a bottle of wine; going for a run on the nature trails; dropping the kids off at the pool, or organizing an anniversary party at the residents’ club — there is always something social going on.
And our community goes beyond social engagements and activities. Westhaven is home to multiple generations of the same family with mothers and fathers moving from places such as Chicago, California and Texas to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Similarly, local empty nesters looking for opportunities to downsize without sacrificing the engaging aspects of their lifestyle find Westhaven to be the perfect fit.
In a broader context, Franklin, Tennessee consistently ranks among the country’s best places to live. And twenty miles to the north, residents can enjoy all that the growing city of Nashville has to offer. Franklin itself is the epitome of charm and elegance, with dozens of local shops, eateries, boutique hotels, and historic architecture and streetscapes that are set against the backdrop of a small southern town where the sense of belonging is both authentic and thriving.
Should you get a chance to visit Williamson County, Tennessee this summer, we hope you will stop by Westhaven and learn more about what makes our neighborhood special. We are always excited to meet new people and welcome them into our community..
